A stable, though a moderate growth, development of the retail market in Poland was shaken by the outbreak of the Covid 19 epidemic in Q1 2020. The well promising year from the point of view of the undertaken development investments in retail facilities faced the challenge of banning the trade for the vast majority of stores in shopping malls, the financial liquidity risk of tenants, and also depriving the owners of shopping facilities of regular income from rent.
